The Barrett Jackson family of companies is the largest classic car auctioneer in the world. Throughout their 50 years of operation and across their portfolio of brands, they have produced and accumulated an immense amount of traditional and digital media content and assets. This includes video, photography, and accompanying written content and assorted data.
Action was engaged to perform a full audit on the asset types, locations and company requirements, and make a series of recommendations on a go forward DAM (Digital Asset Management) platform strategy to support their ongoing and future business needs. We started by reviewing all their relevant assets and systems and collecting and prioritize requirements across all their business units. This information drove our search for the best possible new technologies to support their media, marketing and e-commerce business units. Many DAM vendor platforms were evaluated and clear winners emerged. The results were collated and presented to Barrett-Jackson in consolidated DAM platform strategic recommendations.
